Necklaces

When I started my work on jewellery, I drew sketches of shapes and their contact, conflict and interaction. When I came to crafting the ring itself, drawings and sketches already became simplified form, almost geometrical and polished. In time it wears and receives the stamp of the person who carries it, with small scratches, it receives its character. Jewellery is made of silver, visually unobtrusive material, but as a metal it makes nice contrast with skin.

In my work with necklaces I did much on initial drawings. Especially with lyrical drawings, nevertheless end result is purified almost industrial form unlike the first step. Necklaces are obvious consequence of my works with sculptures.
